FMA returns to [adult swim] on Monday July 2

Fullmetal Alchemist returns to [adult swim] Monday, July 2 at 1AM ET, according to the [adult swim] schedule. They're running the whole series all the way through, concluding on September 12, after which it gets replaced by another run of Cowboy Bebop (which is also wonderful, but I figure everyone's seen it by now, right?).

So Fullmetal's back. As for me... not looking so good for a return. I got halfway through the script for a special episode on the movie before life intervened again, and I can't imagine having the time to actually push through that and the back 26 episodes. But I'm renewing the Libsyn and Skype accounts this week just in case I find the time and will to get it back together (you know, for the like five of you out there who haven't unsubscribed yet...)

Oh, and I turned off comments on a lot of the podcast episodes because they were getting link spammed. Sorry about that, but it sucks to have to go through twice a day removing spam.

Take your time on the podcasts. I believe the whole "quality over quanity" thing applies here.

I'm still subscribed too. Excellent commentaries, some very nice theories. Love your work for the series, and I hope there will be more to come. However, real life is what it is, so...good luck, I guess.

Uh oh, I'm still in too, so I guess it's more than five. Your podcast has the best insights and analysis of the FMA series that I've encountered anywhere on the net - and I'm sure many other people feel the same way! I hope you'll be able to continue the podcast sometime.

It's just good to know that you're not tormenting us by holding an episode were we can't reach it--er--hear it.

I'm one of those people, your podcast is a good one, I still have it subscribed, and I'm waiting with baited (sp?) breath for another episode. I'm sure It'll be a good one, because 26 is one of my favorites! And the movie one, I hope you get done with the next few at least, we wouldn't blame you if you wanted to stop. (Okay, I wouldn't blame you, others might.)

I understand how life does the whole intervining thing... been through that myself. Of course, I am still subscribed to your pod cast! I love all of the insights you provide. I will be more than happy to await your return on the last episodes and movies.... by all means, take your time. Life is precious, and you can't always fit in everything you'd like at one particular moment.

Please realize the fine contribution you make to a community of thinkers who so enjoy FMA! I think reasonable folks understand how much time, thought, and effort go into broadcasting quality reviews… your next effort is well worth the wait. A buddy of mine introduced me to your podcasts and it has greatly deepened my re-viewing of each episode. A group of us meet regularly to complain about our property taxes, drink Three Floyds, and talk FMA---your reviews have now become a regular launching point of great philosophizing and discussion. Another of the more-than-five subscribers -- your podcast is amazing and I hope you're able to continue! You obviously put a lot of time and effort into these, and they're always worth the wait. I'll understand if you have to stop, though. That whole life thing... But please know that your work here is always appreciated.

I'm another fifth listener as well. Please keep up the good work! Life lays waste to the best made plans, but hearing someone talk about anime intelligently is just so liberating that it's worth the wait as a listener.
